Gloves that protect against coronavirus

With an antibacterial activity of 99.9% thanks to the underlying technology, gloves can destroy viral RNA.

Spain is still waiting for the vaccine to reach Spain so that all can receive it but several companies continue to design new products that help in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic. This is the case of JMP Ingenieros, a Riojan company, which has designed gloves that protect against COVID-19 and would allow cautious contact with more people. Gestures such as shaking hands, touching other people and even touching our faces are gestures that would not infect us with this new invention.

And how is it possible? As reported on euroweeklynews.com, the technology designed for these gloves destroys the viral RNA within the first hour from the time when contact with the virus in an infected area. A fact that has already been verified by the Center for Biomedical Research of La Rioja (CIBIR), Its antibacterial activity is 99.9% based on the studies and tests carried out by the Center for Textile Research. Of course, its production process is "totally confidential".

A practical washing technology

Named as 'Guantelet', these gloves are ergonomic, sensitive and tactile, so you can use your mobile or any other touch device when wearing the gloves. And it is that its objective "is to be part of the day-to-day activities offering total comfort". Its “soft” touch and ergonomic design allow it to fit the hand in the best possible way, even to the point without exerting pressure. They are also bactericidal due to their 99.9% antibacterial activity.

Its technology also reduces washing cycles, that is, with its anti- wash function, the gloves can be used again an hour later without the need to wash them. Still, they can be washed up to 30 times and are reusable. The Riojan company has pointed out that 'Guantelet' has a grid made with ionized silver yarn at the base of the glove, which makes it have that high antibacterial percentage.
